The problem
Running several companies from one office means several sets of orders, invoices and stock that have to stay separate for the accounts but visible together for the people doing the work.
The approach
- One system for all the companies: each user works in the companies they belong to, and reporting can roll up across them.
- Follow the money in order — order, dispatch, invoice, payment — with stock moving as part of that flow rather than as a separate ledger to keep in sync.
- A single-page React app on Supabase (Postgres, auth), so the office moves between orders and stock without page loads.
